Asian, Bridal, Beauty and Fashion Make Up
In December I was asked by photographer Tapas Maiti to work with him to shoot Terry Fox‘s 2012 Vintage collection. The work was to be used to promote her new line of ready to wear wedding gowns. The work is being featured in You and Your Wedding, Perfect Wedding and Bride Magazine.
It was an intense day. I had to prepare 3 models (Robyn, Victoria and Eleanor) to shoot 10 dresses to a very tight timeline with all hair and make up suitable for publication. Tapas is a very demanding photographer and will not engage in heavy photoshop work and expects the make up to be spot on. Being true to a vintage styling of course means that heavy retouching would also look wrong.
Tapas and Terry were really happy with the work and we are now preparing for the next collection to be shot in June. Here are some of my favourites.

Westminster College in Cambridge asked Tapas to produce a Winter Wedding shoot to promote the college for upcoming wedding season and Tapas turned to me for the make up. English Bridal requires a lighter touch and Tapas wanted a make up artist who could provide a simple elegant finish and take his direction.
Terry Fox kindly provided the Bridal Gowns whilst Miasposa in Cambridge provided the Morning Suits. Tapas hired Eleanor Cooper who has worked with us before and Daniel Twiss acted as groom for the day.

In March I got together with my friend photographer Tapas Maiti and Designer and stylist Vikkas Rattu to produce some simple asian bridal beauty shots. The models were Farina West and Robyn Aichinger. I had already worked with Robyn for a shoot with Terry Fox and Tapas and we were rightly confident that Farina would give us the look we were after. The days proved to be great fun and we all collaborated together really well to produce these results.
